PREGNANCY TESTING

The Pulaski County Health Department offers pregnancy testing by appointment only. Fees are calculated on a sliding fee scale determined by number in family and family's total income. Medicaid is also accepted. This service is available for women of Pulaski and surrounding counties.

To be tested, you should be at least 2 weeks late on your menstrual cycle. If the test is positive and the client is income-eligible, a WIC appointment will be scheduled and prenatal counseling will be completed. If the test is negative, appropriate counseling will be completed, including referral to family planning services or to a private provider. All results are held confidential.

Please call 573-736-2217 if you have any questions or to schedule an appointment.
