ENVIRONMENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH

The Environmental Public Health Specialist (EPHS) staff provides a variety of services which include to following areas:

• Food Establishments Inspections
• Lodging Inspections
• Licensed Childcare Facility Inspections
• Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS)
• Swimming Pools
• Environmental Complaints
• Water Testing/collection bottles provided
• Animal bite/Rabies investigation follow–ups
• Truck wrecks involving food products
• Restaurant fires involving food products

Overall the services provided cover numerous areas of Environmental Public Health and Sanitation issues. Our goal in the Environmental Public Health section is to Prevent, Promote and Protect Public Health to the citizens within Pulaski County.
